On Thursday October 6th 2016 the biennial Shiplink event is organized for the 9th time in Antwerp.  It started in 2001 as a celebration event for the centennial anniversary of the Antwerp Shipping Federation and now Shiplink has become THE maritime event of the year.

Ship’s agents and shipping line owned offices, all members of the Antwerp Shipping Federation, have identical stands and jointly invite customers and business relations in a casual environment fora snack and a drink. This edition we count 32 exhibitors.

Project for my Time Arts class. It's a music video/storyboard-type thing of the Decemberists' "A Mariner's Revenge Song". This song has been one of my favorites and (along with the rest of their music) a source of inspiration for a few years now, and I'm happy I finally got around to making an adaptation of it.

We hope to make Shiplink 2016 again a successful event where shippers, forwarders, terminal operators, cargo handlers, authorities and other service providers can meet in a cozy atmosphere.
